This file will update an existing Cash Advance
Pro 5.2 or higher system to the most

version. If you have a version prior to version 5, go

update will NOT alter your existing contracts. Nevertheless,
always do a complete backup before running any update.

This file will update Cash Advance Pro 5.0 through 5.2 to 5.21.
The server should be shutdown prior to running the update. Instructions

If you are
updating the Server with one of the two updates above, follow
these steps to make sure the Server is not running:
1) Exit Cash Advance Pro on all computers
2) Shut down server (The server icon is located in the system tray beside the
computer clock, when the cursor is on it the label 'Nexus Database Server'
will display, right click on the icon and select Exit.)
3) Backup your system.
4) Run the update.

SetupMerge.exe
(2-17-10) -
The Cash Advance Pro Merge Utility is designed
to transfer data from one database to another. Using
an internet connection, it may
be used
to consolidate
several stores into one database.
It also may be used simply to pull operating summaries
and
other information into a home office, or to transfer
customer information from several stores into
another store. The Merge Utility costs $295. A password
is needed in order to install it. The license fee for
this software grants unlimited use in as many locations
as you
like.

This is an update file for the Cash Advance Pro Merge Utility to

(3-4-09) - This is a file used after restoring
data to a new computer. It will add the necessary

and startup directories.
When downloading, save it to your CashAdvPro folder,

This file is a
Cash
Advance
Pro pre-release update for those
testing new software updates or for those who need some
new features right away. This update is not the same as
the regular update. Only run this update if you have checked
with us first so that we can keep in touch with you concerning
any reported problems with this update.
** Important
** To
install this Beta Update, you must be running version 5.2 or
newer.
If your version is earlier than 5.2, then
upgrade to version 5.2 first. Running this update will
change receipts and add some additional report templates. Please
backup
your system before updating. This update includes an interface
for updating the Veritec database. There will be some minor
setup options to change if you plan to use the Veritec database
integration features.

Cash Advance Pro Custom Report Templates
Use these report templates as starting places
for your own custom reports.
These templates are designed for loading into the custom
report area. They include a data module. To download
in Internet Explorer,
right click and select "Save Target As."
To
load into the report explorer, go to Reports / Custom
Reports. Choose File / New
/ Report. Choose File / Load From File and select the report you
downloaded. Choose File / Save As, name the report and
save it. Exit the designer

How to
update your default
contract?: Right
click on the desired contract, choose "Save
target as." Then
navigate to your CashAdvPro\Reports folder, then change
the File Name to Contract.rtm by finding Contract.rtm in
the
list of files shown and clicking on it. If you are downloading
a Title Loan or Installment Loan contract, you need to
set the file name as Contract2.rtm or Contract3.rtm respectively.
After entering
the correct file name, click Save. You will be informed
that the file already exists and asked, "Do you want
to overwrite existing?" Answer Yes to start
the download which will replace your contract with the
new downloaded
version.
The
above contracts are for Cash Advance Pro 5.0 or higher only.
If you do not name the contract file during download process,
you will
need
to rename
it to Contract.rtm and place it in your Reports folder (usually
\CashAdvPro\Reports) when downloading is complete. Overwrite
the existing contract to make this new one effective.
